Practical support to reduce absence pressures and strengthen staff wellbeing.

Schools and trusts are continuing to face increasing pressures around staff wellbeing, attendance and capacity. Many leaders tell us they are dealing with rising workloads, more complex staff needs and limited time to deliver consistent wellbeing support. These challenges directly affect absence levels, budget stability and retention.

SAS helps schools and trusts manage these pressures through staff absence insurance supported by internal wellbeing and Occupational Health expertise. Our focus is simple. Reduce the factors that drive absence, provide practical support early and give leaders the confidence that budgets and staff are protected.

One way that we support staff resilience is through our  6 Week Wellness Programme. The next cohort begins in January 2026. Participants receive daily content, weekly live sessions and ongoing expert guidance to help rebuild healthy habits and improve both physical and mental wellbeing.

Deadline to register: 3 January 2026.
Programme begins: 5 January 2026.
