The Department for Education (DfE) has announced £𝟰𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 in funding to improve connectivity in schools, with:
🔸£25M budgeted for Wi-Fi upgrades
🔸£20M budgeted to improve connectivity
This scheme isn’t the first of its kind. In previous years, we’ve helped schools to secure £7.5m in funding to upgrade their wireless networks, and we’re ready to help again this time around.
The government has also launched an eight-week consultation on how to ensure all schools meet six core digital and technology standards by 2030. This consultation will shape future policy, with the goal of narrowing the digital divide and ensuring no school is left behind.
Whether you want to know more about potential funding, or just need some guidance on the digital standards, we’re here to support you.
