It is a legal requirement for schools with air conditioning systems with an effective rated output of more than 12kW to comply with TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections.

An inspection will check for faults and recommend how to improve efficiency to reduce costs.

Zenergi delivered 100 inspections last year, with each identifying several opportunities to improve energy efficiency. Read about the significant savings we identified for two schools:

“With the price of electricity increasing, any saving is vital to the school budget. Your energy report provided us with clarity on how much our systems cost us to run and where we can make savings.”

“This is excellent, I was really blown away by the detail and scope of the report. We are pleased to know that, not only are we compliant with the regulation, but that we can reduce our impact on the planet and make significant annual cost savings – many of which can be achieved at no cost to ourselves.”

Inspections are required every five years, and fines can be levied for non-compliance. To understand more, or check your need to comply, simply email a copy of a recent servicing record or a schedule of your A/C unit(s) to bepositive@zenergi.co.uk.
