Year on year, Synergy’s specialist education team supports numerous schools with applying for funding via various streams.
In March, the Department for Education (DfE) announced the 2024-2025 Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) outcome for schools and academies across the UK. Led by Partners Declan Gleeson and Tony Luff, our funding team are delighted by the successful outcome having secured millions of funding for academies. We prepare robust, tailored bids that address significant condition need in educational buildings to ensure they remain safe and functional for teaching and learning.
The latest School Condition Allocation (SCA) for 2024-25 has also been announced by the DfE for larger MATs to deploy across their estate. Synergy can help by partnering your Trust with our dedicated estate strategy team. They will manage this allocation by developing a comprehensive, forward-looking plan that prioritises expenditure based on importance, future need and budget.
In further news, guidance has recently been published by Salix on how schools can apply for the next round of the Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF5). This Grant Funding will allow for the development of a Heat Decarbonisation Plan which can be used to unlock further Capital Grant Funding when applying for the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS4).
The application portal for the Low Carbon Skills Fund will open for 2 weeks on the Wednesday 17th April, closing on Wednesday 1st May.
Synergy’s funding team work hand in hand with trusted partners who are specialists in estate-wide building decarbonisation. Together, we can help your school prepare and submit a detailed application. If you require assistance, please reach out via enquiries@synergyllp.com as soon as possible.
