In letters issued today congratulating both the new Prime Minister and the new Secretary of State for Education, ISBL CEO, Stephen Morales highlights the pressing challenges facing schools during this period of economic and political turmoil.
In his letter to Rishi Sunak, Stephen quoted the low morale across the sector, urging Britain's youngest PM of modern times not to forget the paramount importance of investment in education.
Stephen also highlighted the important contributions from ISBL to the Government's ambitions to optimise resources in his letter to Gillian Keegan MP, while also imploring the minister to carefully consider funding, expectations and proportionate accountability.
